National Australian Horror Convention

I am the proud creator and manager of the website for the National Australian Horror Convention. Convention Chair Chuck McKenzie reached out to me in early 2026 to create the website for NAHC, and I have had an amazing time doing so.

What is NAHC?

The National Australian Horror Convention (NAHC) is a celebration of the horror genre in all its many forms, focussing primarily upon literature, but also covering media, gaming, comics, and pop culture, with three days of scheduled events and activities such as panels, workshops, competitions, and guest presentations. There will also be a major focus upon Indigenous Australian and multicultural horror. This will be an event for fans, industry professionals and traders alike. NAHC was set up as a non-profit company specifically to showcase and promote horror across all genres, subgenres, formats and categories.

My Involvement

“Red Saunders is a Canberra-based visual artist and musician whose practice focuses on experience, body, and feeling. They are on board to assist in UI/UX Design and social media. Red has been hard at work putting their keen eye to use to bring our information to you.” — natozhorrorcon.com/the-coven

The Coven is the affectionate term for the Convention Committee. I’m very proud to sit amongst some incredible and wonderfully spooky people on this page.
